Siva Doba
About one thousand meters southwest of the remaining place, one will see a slightly raised area covered with vegetation. This will indicate Jagannatha Misra’s house. Ten Meters from there is the Vrddha Siva temple. From such measurement one will be able to discern everything. A pond called Siva Doba will be seen, indicating the previous bank of the Ganges. In this way, by the Lord’s wish, the devotees will reveal the lost places. Know this for certain. At the end of four hundred years, the task of recovering the lost tirthas will begin.

Information – After intensive research and according to some confidential hint, we have been able to locate the exact stream of the Ganges. A long stream called Śivera Doba or the pond of Śiva near Khaḍvana, which lies to the south of Māyāpura, is still present. If one stands on the bank of this stream and looks towards Ganganagara, one can see that a tract of land resembling the bank of a river is by the side of Māyāpura.
